Hey everyone! Now that school's almost out, I'm set on being a better blogger. So much has been going on recently.. I'm finishing up my 4th semester of school and am almost done! Jeff is working hard at Wallabys and it is making excellent progress.
I am 25 weeks pregnant (almost the 3rd trimester. Hallelujah.) My little baby boy is due in March (exactly 1 day after my birthday... ) and Jeff and I have decided to name him Liam. I am very excited for the baby to get here so we can cuddle.. I can't wait! I've already started buying little things here and there for the nursery and clothes for the baby. It's just too much fun to wait any longer!
Our little puppies, Twinkie and Foster, are getting so big! We love them so much :)
Jeff and I had our very first anniversary over Thanksgiving break. We went and had a fun day to ourselves up in Salt Lake City :) It was special!

Moving.. Day 1

Well today was an exciting day in the life of us! We starting boxing up our spare room to get ready to move!! Its coming around so fast, our close date has been moved forward, possibly WEDNESDAY!!! I absolutely can't wait! I hope it works out on Wednesday because it is seriously killing me to wait.. I have the itch to paint bad. Every time we go to Wal-Mart I find an excuse to head over to the paint section and have a look around.. Its going to be so fun to have my own spaces to do with what I please :) Oh yeah, and Jeff has some input too...

Timpanogos Hike!!

Today Jeff and I hiked to the top of Mt. Timpanogos! It was so much fun and the view was AMAZING!! It did take about 9 hours round trip... We're so sunburnt!! There was a lot of snow so the reflection of the sun off the snow really got us crispy. Jeff had a little mishap as we were crossing our last glacier, the snow on top gave away and Jeff slipped about 30 feet down the slope. His legs are all bruised and scraped up from the rocks that were at the bottom. It was the scariest thing I've ever seen! I didn't know what to do, or how to help him get back up to where the trail was. Luckily, he found a pathway and basically rock-climbed his way up to the trail.

Now we're sitting at home comfy in our jammies watching NCIS reruns.. Hiking is exhausting. We definitely aren't nor will we become avid hikers, but it was a very fun day!

These are our new puppies, Twinkle Toes and Foster. They're adorable and we love them. They're moving into the condo with us!! They're 3 weeks old, and will be able to come live with us in 5 weeks :)

Jeff and I are buying a new house! We're so excited, July 19th is our closing date :) we're moving to Pleasant Grove into a 3 bed 2 bath condo. I can't wait to get my hands on the place!

So here's whats been going on in our life lately.. We recently got pre-approved for a house, so we've been looking all over Utah County for one!! Its terrific. Today we found a GREAT condo in Pleasant Grove and we put in an offer! Almost every other condo/house we liked something was wrong with it, or it was sold a few days later..... Its nice to actually be the first offer for once :) I was starting to get frustrated, but we soon realized that thats kinda the way it goes with buying a house...
In Wallabys news, nothing new is really happening.. No break-ins, luckily. Business is going great, Jeff and I work during the day so we have nights together :) I love it!
Today, Jeff and I went to the pool, which was so much fun. Its definitely one of our favorite things. Also, we've officially been married for SIX MONTHS!! :) Time flies by so fast. Its been the best six months of my life. I love Jeff..

The semester is OVER!

We're so happy! Here's why: School ends this week!!
These past few months have been SO stressful and we're very excited for summertime. For the past month, Jeff and I have been painting the walls at Wallabys over the weekends. We were so excited to be finally done last week, and then Wallabys was ROBBED!!! And, of course, they punched a hole right through the newly painted women's bathroom to get to the office... Just our luck, right? So this weekend we ran into the restaurant Sunday afternoon to check out the crime scene.. and ended up spending yet another weekend at the restaurant cleaning.. only this time we were cleaning up shattered glass and drywall. Pretty much what I'm saying here is-We NEED a relaxing summer, and we're so so excited for these busy few months to be behind us!

Wow!!! We've had an abnormally busy week.... Jeff has been putting in extremely long hours due to the large amounts of caterings. It has been crazy. And, of course, there are always people that work for you that are undependable and make life harder. It's irritating. Just be responsible and do your job. Not hard, right?? Anyway, it's been a busy week for me, too. I had three papers (they were short, thankfully) and one math test. Talk about stress!! Needless to say we're VERY excited for a vacation this next week. No school, no work, no annoying people. Just us having fun. I CANNOT WAIT!!! :) oh, and also i'm turning 20 on Sunday (I keep forgetting!) so that will be a fun way to start off the festivities!!

Well its definitely been a busy couple of weeks around here. Valentines was so great, Jeff made a delicious dinner, chicken fried steak, and we watched Sweet Home Alabama together. It was very nice, I have such a great husband. The week before, we filed our tax return and decided to use some of the money we got to buy a much needed new mattress. We were using a hand-me-down from my younger sister... It was about 15 years old and needless to say we're more than happy to give it back. We bought our mattress at Denver Mattress, which is a really great place, and we love our new mattress.
School is going really well for both of us, but it really is keeping us quite busy. We still leave time in the day for NCIS, our new favorite show, which we're watching right now. Its terrific.
Next month, we're taking a trip to Las Vegas for my birthday and also for spring break. Its going to be so nice to have a break and just be together for a few days. And since Jeff's never stayed in Las Vegas I thought it was the perfect place. We're staying in a hilton since we can't stay in a casino... Because we're not 21. Even still, its going to be so much fun, and I just can't wait to have a break!

Can I just say that I really love Jeff... The other day, he left for work before I went to school and when I got in my car, he'd scraped off all my windows and on my front windshield wrote "love you" in the snow. I thought it was the cutest thing ever!! :) I'm so lucky!

School Time!

Well today was the first day of the new semester! Jeff and I have already spent a grand total of 276 dollars on school books... Not so fun. And we still have 3 books to buy. I've finally decided on a major, which is Behavioral Science with an emphasis in either family studies or social work. I can't decide. But I'm very excited about working towards my bachelors degree... So excited in fact, that I'm taking 19 credits this semester!... BLEH. Can anyone here see me as a marriage counselor? Thats my chosen profession today.. we'll see if that changes again.
Jeff has three classes this semester; management, accounting, and economics! doesn't that sound like fun?? He's doing a really great job and is working towards a possible associates in accounting. I'm really glad jeff loves numbers and money and stuff like that. Its definitely not my forte. Thats why we got hitched :)

Today I(Steph) made a blog for us while Jeff was working at the infamous Provo Store... A lot has been going on the past few months (wedding, honeymoon, moving, etc....) and its weird that we're not constantly doing something for the time being. We both start school tomorrow, I go during the day, Jeff goes at night so he can maintain Wallabys during the day. He's doing such an AMAZING job as manager, but it is definitely a lot of stress too.
We got back from a cruise right before Christmas. BEST vacation :) I recommend cruises to anyone who reads this... We went on a 3 day cruise to Ensenada Mexico, which is barely outside of California. It was so much fun to be able to relax and not have to worry about school and such. I'm now going to try and add some pictures of the cruise and of the wedding... We'll see how it goes.
